TOM

Owner/Head Brewer

Tom is no stranger to craft beer. He began brewing commercially in 2008 and has been fining his craft ever since. His favorite thing about making beer is all the different varieties that can be brewed with just 4 ingredients (water, malted grain, hops, and yeast). His attraction started with the different histories behind different traditional styles and why they were made the way they were. Tom is an extremely creative brewer and loves to showcase unique beers and flavor combinations as well as the traditional styles that founded the Craft Beer movement.

SARAH

Owner/Operations Manager

Sarah first stepped into the craft beer industry in 2012 right here in Fort Collins. She began as a taproom employee and quickly worked her way up into a management position. She has been in management and administrative positions at several breweries, gaining experience in human resources, accounting, employee management, and business operations. Over the years, she has loved being apart of the craft beer industry and all that surrounds it.

Whats your favorite style of beer?

I'm a seasonal drinker so my tastes change throughout the year. I like to explore as many beers and styles that I can. If I had to narrow it down to just one style that I could drink all year I'd go with Oktoberfest. It just has a great balance between malt and hops and finishes smooth.

Whats your favorite part of the craft beer industry?

The people. One of my favorite things to do is get together with other brewers and drink and talk about beer. Every other brewer I have met has such a love for the craft so it's great to be around people with like minded passions.

What do you do when you're not brewing beer?

Drinking beer, haha. When I'm not brewing, you can catch me playing with my dog, relaxing with my wife, growing veggies, or annoying my neighbors with my drum kit.

Whats your favorite style of beer?

I guess you could say I'm a sucker for German beers. I love a good Schwarzbier as well as Oktoberfest.

Whats your favorite part of the craft beer industry?

The community. I love the way something so simple as beer brings so many people together. I love the idea of giving back to the local community through the love of craft beer.

What do you do when you're not in the taproom?

When I'm not working, I'm usually out and about with my kids. We love to camp up the Poudre, go for hikes, and spend time with our two dogs!
